The most prestigious Italian and foreign tour operators, chains, and other players in the supply chain are organizing sustainable and 'carbon neutral' trips and proposing many international destinations to reconnect with nature.
BIT is the event where major tour operators, hotel chains and other players in the supply chain present their news for the coming season. The 2023 edition, at Allianz MiCo in Milan from next Sunday 12 February to Tuesday 14 February, makes no exception.
For those who decided to stay in Italy but are still uncertain between sea and mountains, here’s the proposal by Blu Hotels described by Manuela Miraudo, Events & Communication Manager: “As always, we will focus on our hotels and resorts by the sea, especially facilities in Apulia, Sardinia and Tuscany, but without forgetting the summer mountains, with our hotels in popular destinations such as Bormio, Ponte di Legno, Asiago, Folgaria and Misurina."
As a matter of fact, there’s a growth also in traditional demand. For its Mare Italia 2023 schedule, Futura Vacanze is set to launch three new facilities, united by beaches and views of particular beauty, variety of services and proximity to places of cultural and natural interest: Futura Club Cala Fiorita, in Budoni, Sardinia; Futura Club Borgo Rio Favara, in Ispica Mare, Sicily; and Futura Club Acqua Venere, in Paestum, Campania. These new entries bring to 18 the number of Futura Clubs in Italy, to which should be added three clubs abroad (Sharm El Sheikh, Marsa Alam, Porto Santo).
From the Mediterranean to the world, but always green
Among the excellences of hotel hospitality in Calabria, the Mediterranean Hospitality & Management Consulting hotel group will take part in the Tourism Collection of BIT 2023 with its properties, such as the boutique hotel Villa Paola, a magical place in Tropea, former Franciscan convent and perfect location for the increasingly growing wedding segment that today characterizes the region. Also part of the group is the Capovaticano Resort Thalasso Spa, the first wellness destination on the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria, in Capo Vaticano on the Costa degli Dei.
Still in the Mediterranean, the Nicolaus Group presents the new Nicolaus Club Labranda Kiotari Miraluna in Rhodes – a four star with spectacular views of the homonymous beach and with private lido – which complements the historic and highly regarded Nicolaus Club Blue Sea Beach in Faliraki on the northeastern side of the island. The many services allow to choose between relaxing or active vacations for all family members, couples, seniors and groups of friends, as well as MICE users.
However, the Gattinoni Group's commitment to sustainable travel is directed not only to Italy but to the entire world, as explained by Isabella Maggi, Marketing and Communications Director: “We are launching 'carbon neutral' tours, and from this year our Group will enrich its offer with Sustainable Journeys. A selection of tours whose CO₂ emissions are certified and then compensated through certified green projects designed to capture CO₂ or avoid its emissions. We have also many vacation proposals to reconnect with nature, for example, the new Tour catalog offers trips to Botswana, Namibia, Uzbekistan... all trips that seek to safeguard nature, flora and fauna, allowing tourists to discover the people while respecting local communities.”
The great tour operators will be at BIT 2023, at Allianz MiCo in Milan from Sunday 12 to Tuesday 14 February. Find out how to visit BIT 2023!
