One can set out for the glaciers of Patagonia, go learn about the wildlife of the Galapagos, or discover Senegal. Or experience a different Europe in Slovenia, Portugal or Gran Canaria.
Who said that wilderness and the great outdoors cannot also be found in Europe? At BIT 2023, at the Allianz MiCo in Milan from Sunday, February 12 to Tuesday, February 14, there will be many nature and outdoors proposals from the Old Continent.
In just a few years, Slovenia has earned a reputation as one of Europe's “greenest” destinations-just think of routes such as the Slovenia Green Gourmet Route or the Slovenia Green Wellness Route. “With the Slovenia Unique Experience initiative, we want to promote authentic experiences that will stick in the memory of travelers: rock climbing, kayaking in mines, and gastronomic experiences at 160 m below sea level”, comments Aljoša Ota, Director of the Slovenian Tourist Board in Italy.
Thanks to the presence of operators from Portugal , it will also be possible to discover the secret corners of this country: this is the case in Central Portugal, far from the most popular destinations, among historic villages and mountains dotted with abbeys, some of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Setting sail in the nearby Atlantic, the Spanish island of Gran Canaria with the famous Maspalomas Dunes and the incredible Arizona-style rocks of Roque Nublo, from which to reach the picturesque village of Tejeda.
There are numerous new features this year for long-haul enthusiasts. Africa remains a largely undiscovered continent, and one of its emerging destinations is Senegal. Among the country's uniqueness is that of combining the great outdoors with authentic cultural experience, as in major music festivals such as the Music Ebène Festival. We cross the ocean and here we are in Patagonia, with the enchanting Torres del Paine National Park, or the Galapagos with its incredible fauna and flora.
Horizons near and far await buyers and travelers at BIT 2023.
There are still some last-minute opportunities to exhibit at BIT 2023 available to operators.
